Installing different types of works
Exclusive on the French market, PLAtec solutions open new possibilities, enabling companies to broaden their range of services with integration of decorative elements into plasterboard wall or ceiling works. Various types of works can be produced using flush or offset shapes:
- elements to integrate lighting,
- buttered joints and decorative finishings,
- facing columns and structures,
- corbels,
- more complex pieces, such as ellipses, domes and cones.
On-Site Assembly
PLAtec elements are delivered on site in special protective packaging. The various pieces are individually numbered and ready to install. The pieces are laid on the ground, and the installer uses a laser pointer to carefully trace out the contours on the surfaces to be faced. Assembly involves glue, lamination and screw assembly techniques. Integration into the locking system is facilitated by stabilizing the elements with glued and screwed agglomerate blocks. Locking is carried out using either metal stirrups or plasterboard tongues for nesting. The edges of the elements are beveled for tapeless drywall finishing, and small spacers are positioned during installation. The elements are painted at the same time as plasterboard walls and ceilings to ensure optimal integration.
