Jean Christophe Quinton's imagination recreates plasterboard as a structural material at Rendez Vous de l'Architecture
For the latest Rendez Vous de l'Architecture convention, Jean Christophe Quinton stepped up to the challenge of converting the gigantically proportioned reception room of the Palais de la Porte Dorée into a debating hall. The architect envisioned a spectacular table for the participants to boldly take center stage and capture the attention of the audience. PLAtec produced the table, composed of 14 plasterboard modules sized 200x77x73cm, and organized the technical design, machining, assembly and installation on site.
