PLAtec Plaster

PLAtec^TM Plaster for Joints is used to treat joints between PLAtec pieces and fix them to other plasterboard works.

The product is used for gluing and finishing joints, with and without tape.

PLAtec^TM Plaster for Joints is used on two types of board edge: the straight cut and beveled edge (BDCB) coated with PLAtec Primer, and the tapered edge (BA).

The product is compatible with the Lafarge Plâtres pregydeco^TM system.

Preparation of the product:
- 10L water for 25kg PLAtec^TM Plaster for Joints
- Mix manually until the paste forms an even consistency
- Apply manually

Application:
- Apply manually using a spatula and trowel. Use SB blocks to ensure a gap of 3 to 6mm between the beveled edges.
- Spread the plaster across the bottom of the gap formed by the beveled edges in order to form a seam at the back of the joint.
- Remove any excess product.
- Drying: 1 hour approx.
- Apply the top coat to compensate for shrinkage.

- Temperature for use: over 5°C.
- Storage: 6 months from the date indicated on the side of the bag, in a dry area.
