The PLAtec Design Office works closely with the specifiers to create precise production drawings using 3D design models and life size prototypes. Once validated by the contractors, the shapes are prefabricated in the workshop.
PLAtec's multi-trade co-design, production and on-site support services enable the creativity of the specifier to shine.
PLAtec, a Lafarge Plâtres subsidiary, allocates an experienced team and equipment for each of its projects. The design process begins upstream of the site in the integrated design office. The Engineering department provides synchronized aspects of design and production support through to the creation of specifically machined pieces. Engineering also incorporates logistics, from modeling the palettization process to creating packaging for transport of pieces.
With capacity to produce all shapes and configurations and reproduce identical shapes, especially for renovation work, PLAtec spans the limits of creativity. Flush or offset PLAtec shapes with varied contours are manufactured to measure, to ensure that the final result corresponds perfectly with the initial project. These shapes are also used to design more conventional works such as facing for columns and structures, fully invisible inspection doors etc. Finally, on-site assembly allows the various pieces to be installed quickly and easily. PLAtec's technical appraisal 9/04-782 for its drywall finishing system guarantees long-lasting work with a top quality finish.
PLAtec follows up installation and finishing on site and inspects the work through to the completion or acceptance stage. PLAtec can provide assistance to companies and representation during technical synthesis studies.
